this may be a bit premature, but right now it looks as though the HUGE michigan/minnesota game will be moved to friday nite, and possibley on national tv, due to the fact that the twins are in the playoffs.

how does effect such a huge game???? carr is not happy about it.

gophs still have to get by penn st and northwetern, but it seems as thought that will happen, thus, the 7-0 gophs will be playing the more than likely 5-1 wolverines. and michigan might need the extra day as they will be coming in off a hard-fought game in iowa.

thoughts???

Just want to know if anyone thinks that Michigan has any shot of getting to the national championship. I know it will be hard that they lost a game but could it be possible if they run the table beat osu in the finale. Pitt has lost maybe Pitt beats Miami and Miami beats Vtech later in the season. Oklahoma can still lose to Texas and if someone knocks off Usc who could get there? Just curious as I have Mich to win it all as a future from the beginning of the season.

drunkn247.. YES THEY DO!!

Michigan lost early.. and they can beat 2 teams ahead of them in the polls themselves.. also.. tenn plays LSU and Miami plays FSU.. USC has a tough Pac 10 and v-tech plays Miami... Michigan wins out and they have a SHOT!!

YES THEY DO!

After some thought I like the Friday nite thing, we`ll have the nat`l stage all alone. I`m afraid of a F up @ St College tho. The Big 10 could have rolled the dice because NY will smoke the Twins. But they had to decide now I guess.

I read in one of the Detroit papers last weekend the Mich-Minn game was to be played at 10:00 am local time on that Sat to avoid the playoff game.

Kodiak - USC doesn't play Oregon this year. Can't see anyone else (Notre Dame?) beating them.

I think Mich has a shot at the NC game, but it all depends on how the rest of the big ten fairs this year. Mich better hope Ohio ST doesn't lose the rest of the season.A lot of other 1 lose teams will have wins over top 10 teams so Mich will have a very tough time if Ohio st loses before that game.OF course this will probably all shake out by the end of the season, way to early to predict.

I know Mich fans hate the thought of it, but you need to become BUCKEYE FANS.

One other thing Oregon will probably have to lose 2 games, since they changed the BCS formula after the Miami/FLA st issue a couple of years ago.

sorry kodiak

michigan has NO SHOT at playing in the sugar bowl for the mythical nat'l cahmpionship.

too many teams in front of them have to lose - and that's not gonna happen.

michigan blew its chances when they were exposed for the typical Big 11 fraud they are this past saturday in oregon.

i'd sooner bet on your fantasy football team winning our league - than the wolves playing in NO at season's end (only 7 more weeks until my team lays an ass whupping on your team in our league - you are sooooo dead meat!)

first of all michigan does not win the national title for one reason -- john navarre. ohio st won the national title with a whole LOT OF LUCK and a similar qb in krenzel, the woverines luck already ran out in eugene, and they are now coming thru the loser bracket.
this will not be accomplished with a very mediocre qb. i thought their superior running game with perry, and staunch d would help alleviate pressure on navarre, but against good competition that did not happen.

what the hell happened to perry last sat. anyhow -- didn't have a chance to see the game???

and their schedule is murderous!!! purdue, @iowa, @minnesota, @mich st (probablly lose here), and ohio st.

minnesota has just iowa and michigan to get bye.

if the gophers are unbeaten coming into the mich game, and IF they remain focussed (mason can F-up here better than anyone) they can/will beat the wolves -- but we will need to deal with those two looming "IF's" in the coming weeks.

where's the confidence my friend???? twins world series -- and that is not just a bandwagon jumper speaking.

twins win for two reasons --

#1 pitching -- yohan santana will no longer be the best kept secret in mlb. radke and loshe have a ton of confidence right now. and then you have rogers, and former yank who is throwing bee bee's right now milton. and hawkins will be revered as the next rivera after the series.

#2 they won't let themselves lose -- they will NEVER quit.
